My nephew and his partner had a baby girl last night, around 10pm. She's named Summer Jade and I'm going over tomorrow to see her. They say she has a full head of curly hair. Her mom's hair is completely straight so she got it from her dad, my nephew and godson. Curly hair runs in our family, me included.
I'm glad the birth is over and I didn't have to be there. I just like hearing the good news after everything is done, a lot less stressful that way. She's home already, they certainly don't keep you long in the hospital anymore.
Plus I've got my first great-nephew expected this summer, courtesy of my niece. Our family is busting out all over. :P
